In the sport of association football (soccer), the referee is the person responsible for interpreting and enforcing the Laws of the Game during a match. The referee is the final decision-making authority on all facts connected with play and is the match official with the authority to start and stop play and impose disciplinary action, when needed, against players and coaches during a match.
To become a soccer referee, you must complete the relevant courses, receive the necessary sanctions, and earn the appropriate certification by a specific organization. Any eligible individuals aged thirteen and older is able to become a referee in the greater Oklahoma area.
